Rhonda joined Purdue in 2013, the inaugural year of the Honors College, from Arizona State University where she served as Associate Dean for Barrett, The Honors College, a top five honors programs in the U.S. Rhonda also served as a professor and former director of the School of Community Resources and Development and a Senior Sustainability Scientist at the Global Institute of Sustainability. She holds a doctorate in city and regional planning and a M.S. in economics from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and M.S. in economic development and a B.S. in geography from the University of Southern Mississippi. She serves as president for the International Society for Quality-of-Life Studies.
